Hey, I’m Maria Luna, 24, born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. Still here, still complaining about the heat lol. If you ever wonder why I game so much at night, it’s honestly cause it’s too hot to do anything else half the year.
So here’s the deal: I work part time at a pharmacy, and the rest of my time goes straight into gaming. My mom reminds me of this approximately every single day. “Maria, don’t you have anything better to do?” Nope. Not really.
Funny story on how I got here. The whole RPG obsession actually started because of my ex. He was super into Dark Souls and Elden Ring and all that, and at first I just watched him play and thought it looked kinda dumb, no offense. Then we broke up, and one night I just picked up the controller cause I needed something to do that wasn’t crying or doom-scrolling my phone. And I got HOOKED. Like, genuinely obsessed. Plot twist: turns out I’m way better at it than he ever was. I’m not gonna pretend that doesn’t feel amazing.
These days I’m just doing my own thing. No drama, no ex, just me and a ridiculous backlog of bosses to fight. I’m figuring stuff out as I go, and this blog is part of that.
One random thing about me — I keep a little notebook full of hand-drawn maps of every boss arena. They’re super messy, like embarrassingly messy, but they actually work. My grandma taught me to sketch when I was little, so it’s kind of my thing now. I post the polished versions, plus my unfiltered late-night rants and runs, over in my private corner for the people who wanna hang closer.
